The artist’s work has been deeply imbued with love to nature. He spent his childhood in the little town of Repino, which is not far from Saint-Petersburg. The places, surrounded with splendid nature, lush forests and picturesque landscapes, became an inspiration for the artist.
The viewer can see a recognizable image of Russian village. White night is an usual phenomenon of Northern Russia, when its almost never gets dark during the twenty-four hours. Kremer used bright colors to convey the atmosphere of a warm day.
