Handmade Matryoshka doll set of five pieces. It has a depiction of a fairy tale “Ivan Tsarevich and the Grey Wolf”. With the help of the Grey Wolf the main character finds the Fire-bird and the princess, kills all his enemies and becomes the ruler.

This doll was made of high-quality linden wood and painted with tempera. Its surface is covered with different kinds of gold leaf and given a perfect lacquering in the end.

This unique Matryoshka doll was made by the old eminent “Philipp” studio, based in St Petersburg. Distinguishing features of the studio are bright combinations of colors, detailed patterns of shawls, decorations with crystals and beautiful nice faces.
