Bright artistic work, made by artist from one of the most unique centres of lacquer miniature – Mstyora. The scenes of this school are always complicated and detailed. The artist tried to show a vivid emotional world of Russian folklore. The artwork looks like the real painting made on canvas. Sides of the box are beautifully decorated with golden ornament and the top is signed by the artist.

Mstyora, as other schools of lacquer miniature, appeared on base of icon-painting. Bright decorative colours – one of the main features of the school. The colours are very bright and saturated.
