City theme is one of the central in art of Dmitriy Ermolov. He often depicts Saint-Petersburg and its main attractions in his own impressionistic manner.

 Through the mist, we see a great symbol of Saint-Petersburg – Isaac’s Cathedral. The color palette reflects typical colors of a northern city. The foggy and cloudy city, nevertheless, fascinates the viewer and puts into special atmosphere.
