Original ten pieces Matryoshka doll with the depiction of Russian landscapes and life of peasants.  The subject of the first one is Russian troika. It is a traditional harness driving combination, using three horses abreast, pulling a sleigh. This image is very symbolic for Russian art.

The doll was made of linden wood which keeps its shape for a long time. The design was made by very thin brushes, with the use of tempera and acrylic paint.

The doll was made by “Russian Traditional Souvenir” studio which is known for its hand painted wooden pieces and high quality work.
