The artists often make a painting with bright episodes, while creating wooden Father Frost. Usually these episodes depict New Year, winter landscapes and fairy-tales.  Here the artist depicted an episode from a famous Christmas fairy tale «Nutcracker». The painting was handmade using acrylic paints. The figurine was hand carved from a piece of linden wood, which is the best and soft material for such kind of art works.
