The depiction of a cityscape with the classical motif of the Russian troika are harmoniously combined in the work made by professional artist from the Kholui school. The main historical symbols of  Saint-Petersburg and its architectural monuments are depicted on each side.

It is worth noting the color of the box itself and its background, as, traditionally, miniatures are depicted on a black background. Ornaments and many details are highlighted with gold leaf, which is often used for decorative purposes. So, gold and tempera of red and blue colours are perfectly combined on a such light background. The recipe for mixing the paints came to us from the old times. All the stages of creation are hand made and keep a little piece of Russian soul.
