Beautifully designed Matryoshka doll of five pieces with the depiction of Russian winter. We can see a nice girl dressed in winter fur coat, mittens and traditional kokoshnik. In Russian folklore this character is known as Snegurochka – granddaughter of Father Frost. What makes the doll is so touching – little white polar bears, playing on each doll. It can be a lovely gift for children, as well as a good present for Christmas, with a little piece of Russian soul.

The masters used linden wood as a base. The painting itself was created using tempera and acrylic paints. Several layers of lacquer will always keep it safe from time and scratches.

The doll was made by professional artists from the old workshops of Hotkovo town. They are known for amazing art works and quality rendition. They also have been worked for many years already, and became popular among souvenir art galleries.
