Colorful detailed Matryoshka doll of ten pieces. Its subject – Russian fairy tale “Morozko”, which tells us about the lord of winter and how he rewarded a nice polite girl and froze to death the bad one.

The doll is made of high-quality linden wood, which keeps its shape for a long time. It is hand painted with tempera and covered with shiny lacquer.

The doll was created in the art studio owned by Valentina Smorodkina. This place is known for its talented artists, who used to work in Palekh and became professionals in miniature painting. Amazing work with details and very tiny painting – is always a result of their art.
