In our gallery we present an amazing blue copy of one of fifty two imperial Easter eggs made by Carl Faberge company. The egg “Lily of the valley” was made as a gift for Alexandra Fyodorovna, wife of the last Russian Emperor.

The egg is one of the two eggs in the Art Nouveau style. The original was made of translucent pink enamel, decorated with gold, green enamel and pearls. The egg has portraits of Nicolas and the two daughters – Princess Olga and Tatiana.

The egg, presented in our gallery, was made from brass, cold enamel and crystals. The artists created a kind of a music box, playing Swan Lake by Tchaikovskiy.
