Large and roomy lacquer box with the views of Saint-Petersburg. The artist depicted the famous Church on Spilled blood, Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac’s Cathedral. The side of this beautiful box were decorated with original ornament and miniatures.

The box is painted with egg tempera and cherry resin for perfect gloss. The recipe of mixing the paints came to us from the old times. All the stages of creation are hand made and keep a piece of Russian soul.

Kholui is the youngest center of lacquer miniature painting. The artists depict various subjects from fairy-tales to literary works.
