The lacquer box “Dobrynya and the Snake” is a real exclusive and unique piece of art. Its creator Veronika Chibisova is one of the rarest authors, whose works are almost impossible to find in Russia. The artist works exclusively on demand for collectors. Her original and unique work with colours cannot be repeated.

She spent about one year to make her masterpiece in a such a high quality. The artist used lacquer miniature technique with egg tempera, gold leaf, silver and lacquer.

Veronica Chibisova was born on 20 December, 1982 in Palekh in Ivanoskiy region. From her childhood she was interested in art and painting. In 2002 she finished her studies in the Palekh School of Arts.

Legends, fairy-tales and bylines influenced a lot on her art. The most important features of her work are details, smoothness and elegance of lines, color saturation of the palette, ornamental decoration.

Veronika Chibisova is considered as one of the representatives of the greatest artists of our time. Our gallery is very glad to have such an incredible and rare box in our collection.
