The subject of most Nail Galimov’s art works is a cityscape. Once fallen in love with Saint-Petersburg, the artist recreates the images and places of the city from his memories. The city is presented here in bright and blurry tones. The style of the painting is impressionism; artistic manner is energetic and detailed. The cold colouring of the works, the combination of large spots of bright blue and white colours with fragments of red, brown an atmosphere of rain freshness on the master’s canvases.
