Handmade and hand painted Russian doll of ten pieces, made by professional artists specially for our gallery. The design represents main St. Petersburg sightseeing attractions: The Church of Savior on Spilled Blood, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Peter and Paul’s Fortress, picturesque embankments of the city.

Each detail is carefully hand crafted with acrylic and tempera paint, with the use of gold leaf and shiny lacquer. And for manufacturing the doll, artists use linden wood, known for its high quality and durability.

This unique Matryoshka doll was made by the old eminent “Philipp” studio, based in St Petersburg. Distinguishing features of the studio are bright combinations of colors, detailed beautiful shawls, decorations with crystals and soft faces.
