Collectable shiny Matryoshka doll of ten pieces, all hand painted. It represents traditional Russian dress – bright sundress, shawl and kokoshnik.

The doll is made of high quality linden wood, which keeps its shape for a very long time and never cracks. It is painted with the use of tempera and acrylic paint, gold leaf and shiny lacquer.

The doll was created in the art studio owned by Valentina Smorodkina. This place is known for its talented artists, who used to work in Palekh and became professionals in miniature painting. Amazing work with details and very tiny painting – is always a result of their art.
