Maria Likhya is a young and promising artist from Saint-Petersburg, the graduate and the lecturer in the Russian Academy of Arts. The ballet «Russian Seasons» by Sergey Dyagilev was the subject of her diploma work. From those times the popularity of Russian ballet around the world grew very fast. The diploma work was given to the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. The fragments of her work are presented in our gallery.
Blue colour is the main colour of all artist’s works. All the people, depicted in the paintings are covered with this amazing bright colour. It goes even through the dark black.
